DynAWind² – Model-based, structural monitoring of wind turbines with a minimal number of sensors

Together with W2E and the StM and LTMD of the University of Rostock, we are investigating the possibility of making more precise statements about the life cycle of wind turbines through a deeper understanding of the actual operating loads that occur and the laws of material fatigue of the individual components. By using a minimal sensor concept, we aim to indirectly derive the cyclic loads via numerical structural models.
